What Are Stitch Braids?
Stitch braids get their name from the distinctive parting technique used during installation. Unlike traditional cornrows where the parts are simple straight lines, stitch braids feature horizontal "stitches" across each braid that create a unique, eye-catching pattern.
The technique involves creating small, precise horizontal sections perpendicular to the main braid direction. This creates the appearance of stitches running across the parts, giving the style its distinctive look.
