What Are Goddess Braids?
Goddess braids are a variation of box braids or knotless braids where curly or wavy hair is left out or woven into the braids at intervals, creating a stunning contrast between the structured braids and the flowing, loose curls. This "bohemian" or "goddess" effect gives the style its signature romantic, effortless look.
The technique involves braiding most of the extension hair into the braid as usual, but strategically leaving sections of curly hair unbraided to flow freely around each braid. This can be done with pre-curled synthetic hair or with human hair extensions for a more natural finish.
At WUB Hair Studio, we specialize in creating flawless goddess braids in various sizes. Our small goddess braids offer maximum detail and a fuller look, while the small-medium size provides a beautiful balance between definition and volume. We also offer goddess Fulani braids that combine the traditional Fulani pattern with bohemian curly accents.
Our standard goddess braids are mid-back length. Extra length is available from £15 to £35 depending on how long you'd like your braids. During your consultation, we'll discuss the best size, length, and curl pattern to achieve your desired look.
