What Are Sew-In Extensions?
A sew-in weave involves braiding your natural hair into a flat cornrow pattern, then sewing wefts (tracks) of hair extensions onto the cornrows using a needle and thread. This method securely attaches the extensions while keeping your natural hair safely tucked away and protected.
The leave-out sew-in is the traditional method where a small section of your natural hair is left out at the crown or edges to cover the tracks and create a natural-looking part. This technique is ideal for those who want to blend their natural texture with the extensions.
